Self Improvement and NLP blog
Hi friends it has been sometime since I last blogged. I was busy giving seminars and workshops about self improvement and stress management that I did not have time to blog. Well, today I am going to share with you some tips on how to self improve and enhance your life through more NLP techniques.
The power to change your life today is to change the unconscious thinking part of our brain. Very often the unconscious self is that part of the mind that analyzes, thinks and try to solve problems and also controls our bodily movements.
This part of our brain is also responsible for the memories and our capacity to think and react to daily demands arising from work and other issues.
We have lots of bad habits which inhibit our thinking process and thus we have to learn to use this NLP power wisely by using some of the simple tips I am sharing with you.
Firstly understand the reason why you are upset about something. This is the most difficult part of our thinking. Many of us do not really think clearly and form a picture or image of what we are doing. Instead they rely on feeling as to the reason for being angry. These negative emotions such as anger, frustration, sadness and disappointments are generally not turned into pictorial analysis.
Secondly, once you are able to form an image of the anger or the emotion faced, you are able to control the neurochemistry which simply means you can choose to describe your thoughts and thus able to change your thoughts.
The next step is to change the anger into happy thoughts by thinking of something wonderful. Close your eyes and see the image of the happy occasion or the event which enabled you to be happy then.
Then pay attention to the feeling in your body which is now slowly changing from negative to positive emotion. See this picture of happiness working its way to making you feel good.
Afterwards you will feel good for no reason at all. Maintain such a thought for the next few days and I am sure you will be able to get rid of unwanted feelings.
Changing your thoughts enables you to change the way you behave. So once you are able to imagine happy events , your neurochemistry will generate enough positive feelings to help you deal with yourself better. In this way, you will have improved and become more productive and healthier in body and in mind.
Cheers and think of a great happy picture in your head now…
