Actually, I knew about laughter therapy long ago, but it was only recently, when I joined a community club in my neighbourhood, and discovered the fun of using laughter therapy to become a better human being, that I realized that self- improvement techniques can be enhanced by this simple therapy.

According to one writer, who was striken with cancer, he found that his life became better when he began to laugh and have fun everyday. Laughing was a big business in India because thousands of people have improved their lives by mere laughter, three times a day. In fact laughter therapy started in India and has spread throughout the world today. The power of using laughter therapy is tremendous. It can remove fears and overcome phobias, because when one laughs, the positive enzyme is able to multiply and let the body relax. In this way the mind and body are able to be in sync to do something exciting thus igniting the brain to feel good.

My sessions in the community club has improved my breathing, my thinking and my confidence too. Indeed laughter has a price while misery is free.

So the slogan "don’t worry, be happy" is truly a way to live a confident and improved life.
