Today I am sharing some insights about the removal of mental block which some of us are confronted with. To enable you to improve your utilization of your brain power and to enable you to be more effective than you already are, you could the following steps:
a) think of a time when you are doing something simple such as brushing teeth or brushing hair
b) then think of how you can enhance that experience of brushing your teeth by making it more exciting by gurgling with a smile on your face or combing hair with positive, harder strokes
c) then imagine what will happen when your teeth are shining clean or your hair is done and fully brushed, and imagine the joy from within your body…
d) then you go further by imagining the future one year from now, when your way of brushing teeth or combing hair may be different
What is the purpose of this exercise? When I first did this, I was thinking, what the heck? What is the use? But then as I practiced more and more and imagined further and further, I became happier and more positive, so much so that now my life is improved tremendously – I am more proactive and more productive in my work and in my personal relationship with others.
See, a simple task can be enhanced and your life improved greatly by the simple step of discovering your inner self. Mindfulness helps to extend our strength and capacity to self improvement and achievement.
