The best things in life require sacrifice and commitment
Many of us think that life should be easy. We are tempted to seek easy way out in trying to improve our lives without paying a price of sacrifice and commitment. Actually this morning when I read an article in the newspaper about a man whose leg was amputated, learning to walk and later he decided to train for climbing
Everyday he practised walking and walking. He improved one step at a time. First he walked a few steps, then a few miles … later he climbed a little hill and soon he graduated to climbing higher mountains in
Many of us cannot even walk properly with two good legs. What struck me is that this person is determined to do the best by self improvement and self discipline.
Fearless and joyful living is definitely possible, it is acquired with much devotion, perseverance and tenacity. The more we practise, the more we achieve. The price of success is definitely nurturing and improving every moment we possibly can.
Like a garden full of flowers, must come with little seeds which were watered consistently and regularly with love and devotion. The never ending improvement and effort will pay off by itself when the time is long enough…
So do not despair. In every effort there is a growth, there is an improvement slowly but surely…
